Precautions

1. Three hours after the operation, take water and meals as usual. Because your mouth does not open wide, it may be convenient for you to eat porridge or soup-type meals for 1-2 days. (you should avoid drinking or smoking for at least a month.)
2. Please take the medication well. Antibiotics, pain relievers, and stomach medications are included. If you have trouble controlling the pain even after taking the medication, you can take additional pain relievers. (If side effects such as urticaria occur after taking the medication, please stop taking it and contact the hospital.)
3. Washing your face can be done after removing the thread.
4. For seven days after surgery, use a low pillow because the position of bowing can cause double chin
5. Please apply cold pack for 3 days and warm pack from the 4th day. (Most bleeding and swelling -> Cold pack / Relieving swelling and bruises -> Hot pack)
6. The bruises are temporary and take care of them while using sunscreen to prevent pigmentation
7. Avoid sauna, excessive exercise for a month, and if you take a light walk, it will help relieve the swelling
8. Avoid putting pressure on your face for a month, irritating or traumatizing the surgical site (which can lead to bleeding and hematoma)
9. For 3-6 months after surgery, facial sensations, pain, and shape asymmetry may be seen, but it gets better

Post-operative visit schedule

1. Day 2-3: Remove and disinfect if jaw tape is present
2. 7-14th Day: Remove the thread
3. 2nd month: elapsed

Treatment

3. A small amount of bleeding may occur at the surgical site for 2-3 days after surgery. If bleeding occurs, please contact the hospital for a cold compress and if it persists, please contact the hospital
4. Minimize facial muscle movements such as laughing or frowning loudly. (The facial muscle movement interferes with fat accretion, so the shape may appear pressed later on.)
5. Temporary tinnitus can occur. It is a symptom of swelling around the ears, so it naturally improves as the swelling goes out.
6. If you continue to feel symptoms such as abnormal pressure, swelling, and burning at the surgical site, you should contact the hospital and visit the hospital for confirmation.
